Hello everyone!
It’s exceedingly warm and rainy for the 25th of December, at least to our way of thinking! Which got me to pondering about how prone we are to reducing significant events to peripheral memories. What I mean is this; it’s easy to forget the main event if our experience changes. While living in Central America we became accustomed to tamales and firecrackers in La Navidad; here we expect ham and presents… Christmas is about neither of these things, though it can include both!
The truth of Christmas is that the Savior came to a needy world… That’s what a refugee, a homeless man or a very blessed Central Virginia farm family should thank God for!
God’s best to each of you on this Christmas Day,
Delvin, Barbara & the Crew at Yoders’ Farm
