Merry Christmas From Yoders Farm!
Good morning friends,
Just wanted to take a few minutes to wish you all a wonderful Christmas! We appreciate you all more than you could know.
The holidays are a time of joy and thankfulness. We are thankful for much, as a business though we are especially thankful for each of you who make Yoders’ Farm possible. We don’t say it enough, but you all are the reason we do what we do and we are extremely grateful for your participation in all aspects of Yoders’ Farm.
It seems only fair to share a few things with you on this Christmas day!
And now… here are a few words from Dad (Delvin).
It’s Christmas!
It is late and our family’s Christmas eve gathering is over. I am out on the last greenhouse and furnace check of the day, essential with the predicted low of upper teens.
It usually takes some mental coaxing of myself to venture out into the cold and dark; tonight is no exception. But the stars! They almost make the trek worthwhile.
Starkly hung against the velvet of the night sky, the orbs, from great to small, combine to illuminate my path with starlight. Heavenly beauty!
Then, turning, I am struck by their far distant kin; the lights of home! The warmth of the house lights urge me to haste to complete my rounds and return to their coziness.
Lights. On Christmas Eve.
He left His Home and the brilliance of the Celestial to make light and warmth possible in our lives, homes and relationships as we find His Truth.
When Pilate asked Him if He was a King, Jesus answered,” “You say that I am a king. In fact, the reason I was born and came into the world is to testify to the truth. Everyone on the side of truth listens to me.”
May we be illuminated by the Light of Truth in this Advent season and the year to come!
Merry Christmas to each of you!
The Recipe – Lasagna Roll-Ups
Ok… now it’s back to me (Eldon).
If you would like… feel free to download a pdf of the Lasagna Roll-Ups recipe… You can print it out. Put it on your iPad or Phone. Or save it to your computer…
The Making of the Christmas Image at the Top
I always have fun putting images together, whether that is for a client or for the family farm…
I thought some of you might enjoy a time lapse of how I put the image together. As a bonus, you get to hear Gary (my younger brother) read the Christmas story! 🙂
Bonus points if you notice the word I spelled wrong… (I did catch it eventually…)
Looking Forwards to 2014
There you go!
We are really looking forwards to 2014 and all it holds.
We wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
