Just so you know, this post is fairly old… as you read it, know that any prices/dates/hours displayed here may no longer be correct. For the most accurate information head over to our home page for hours and then select different offerings from the home page for specific information around those things.
Thanks!
Good evening to each of you.
I hope this blog post finds you and your family doing well!
It’s time for a little update from the farm.
Here are the topics that I’m going to attempt to cover in this post.
- Tomatoes are now available!
- Winter Farm Store Hours.
- End of the Corn Maze Season. (A bit about next year)
- State of the Strawberries.
Let’s get to it! 🙂
Tomatoes Are Now Available
As people visited the farm this fall a lot of them asked what we raise in the greenhouses. We were very happy to tell them that we raise hydroponic tomatoes through the winter and spring.
Now I’m happy to let you all know that they are available to be purchased in the Farm Store (hours are on the home page).
If you need some locally grown, vine ripened, gourmet tomatoes to add some color to your table, salads, sandwiches or whatever you want to do with tomatoes… we’ve got you covered.
Winter Farm Store Hours
With the change from the Fall Corn Maze season we have changed our Farm Store Hours. Current hours will always be on the home page.
The Farm store is where we sell our tomatoes as well as a large selection of jams and jellies. Occasionally there are also baked goods available.
State of the Strawberries
Another thing that we have been happily telling folks about is the strawberries.
They are growing like crazy and if all goes well we should have 3 lovely acres of strawberries available for your picking pleasure next spring. (End of April, early May.)
Conclusion
Well that’s about it.
Thank you all for being wonderful customers! We appreciate each one of you who made our Fall Corn Maze and Pumpkin season a success… it went well enough we are already making plans for next year.
Have a wonderful week folks.
