Just a couple of quick things that you might want to know about.
Sweet Corn is in!
This years sweet corn is starting to roll in from the field. This is a bicolor, non GMO corn, it’s very similar to what we’ve grown in the past number of years.
The price: $.50 per ear, $5 per dozen, $22.50 per 5 dozen bag. (Call ahead for bags – 434-401-4864)
I’ve personally had a few ears of this corn and must say that it is pretty amazing…
Tomato Price Cut
We’ve got a lot of tomatoes on hand right now. So many in fact that we are doing two things that we don’t do very often.
- We’ve lowered the price of our regular greenhouse tomatoes. Firsts are now $2.50 per lb and seconds are 2.00 per lb.
- Secondly we have a good supply of “canning tomatoes” that we sell by the box full. The price is cut pretty steeply for these as well. We’ll have those while supplies last. (Call ahead for canning tomatoes – 434-401-4016)
Order Your Blueberries Soon
We’ve mentioned a couple of times that we are currently taking orders for New Jersey blueberries. We’ll be making a couple of trips for these blueberries over the coming weeks.
