Corn Maze, Pumpkins, PYO Strawberries - Lynchburg and Rustburg VA
Good evening friends…
We walked through the strawberry fields again this afternoon, and unfortunately, there isn’t much there on the strawberry front. If you’re still wanting to dig around through the plants and see if you can find a few red strawberries Monday yet we’ll be open for that – but just to be clear you probably should come for the experience of poking through the plants rather than planning on many red berries… The Farm Store will be open from 10-2 Monday as well – plenty of tomatoes!
We’ll keep an eye on things throughout the week. There may be an outside chance we’d open the PYO one day at the end of the week if it seems like that would be worthwhile, but it looks like this is going to be pretty much it for our 2025 strawberry season.
This has been a rather short strawberry season, we’re hearing it from numerous other farming friends as well. We’d have loved to have had a longer season, but there is only so much of the process that is in our control… Thanks to everyone for coming out and supporting us!

After Monday, we’ll return to normal summer hours at the Farm Store. Sounds like we’ll have some baked items (sourdough bread and rolls) showing up.
